Golf Lessons

Head Golf Professional, Mike Reilly, and Teaching Assistant Geoff Kilner have combined to offer a wide variety of adult, group, junior and private lessons.

The Adult Group Lesson programs are scheduled to start in April, and will continue through the summer. Adult classes are offered at convenient times for easy scheduling. Regardless of your ability, we have a program to help you improve.

Group lessons are also offered through The Lisle Park District. The Adult Instruction is designed to introduce the fundamentals of the grip, stance, swing and the short game. Programs for the intermediate golfers will focus more in-depth on the swing and short game. Classes meet once per week for four consecutive weeks. Space is limited to six (6) students per class so call now.

River Bend's professional staff offers instruction designed for the beginner and intermediate player. We focus on the basic fundamentals of the golf swing along with an in-depth learning of different short game techniques. Individual and group lessons are available by appointment.

Junior Lesson
Mike Reilly and the River Bend Golf Club are pleased to once again offer our junior golf lesson series. While the series is presented in a group format, individual attention remains our priority. Students will be encouraged to trust in their own capacity, to learn form experiences, and to have faith in what they see, hear, and feel. My role as their instructor is to help students focus on and interpret the most relevant parts of the experience.

All junior classes focus on basic golf fundamentals as well as rules and etiquette. The minimum age is 7 years.

Private Lessons
If you like the one-on-one setting of a Private Lesson, they are available by appointment. Private lessons can be scheduled in either an hour, half-hour or purchased in a series.

Player improvement Series
This is a combination of private instruction and a playing lesson.

Goal
To create a relationship with each student in which the student makes progress toward their goals and we both enjoy the journey.

Junior Group Lessons: Cost $85.00 per student

Dates: Junes 9-12, 16-19, 23-26

Time: 8-9:30 a.m. or 9:45-11:15 a.m. or 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Each student will provide their own bag, fairway wood, 7, pw and putter.
