 The History of River Bend Golf Club
Designed by William J. Spears, this premier par 36 nine hole course opened in
1993 and is built on 6 acres of federally protected wetlands.
30,000 rounds are played annually at River Bend and we are the proud home course
of Benet Academy and Lisle High School boys and girls golf teams.
The View Restaurant & Bar and our pro shop opened on July 10, 2003. The View
became Wheatstack - A Midwestern Eatery & Tap in May of 2011. The facility
features showers and locker rooms.
Our charity outings include: World Gospel Outreach (Honduras medical relief
fund), Sharing Connection, Anima (Youth singers of greater Chicago), Lisle
Public School District, Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs of Lisle.
River Bend Golf Club is a facility of the
Lisle Park District.
